METAL SPRAY / METALLIZING

“Metallization” is a general term that refers to the application of a metal coating to another metallic or non-metallic surface. Depending on the desired result, the coating can consist of metals such as zinc, aluminium etc.
The process is accomplished by feeding zinc/ aluminium wire or powder into a heated gun, where it is melted and sprayed onto the substrate using combustion gases and/or auxiliary compressed air to provide the necessary velocity.
Prior to metallizing, the substrate must be abrasively cleaned.
Metallizing is an excellent solution for enhanced corrosion protection, increased durability and reduction in maintenance costs for your industrial assets.
This process is widely used in aerospace, defense and heavy engineering industries.
working and delivering under most demanding site conditions and timelines for shipbuilding, ship repair, defense, offshore and heavy engineering industries.
